Work from Home Safety

As more and more of us start to work remotely, it’s becoming increasingly important to be aware of our surroundings during the daytime hours. First and foremost, we at Millennium Fire urge you to use common sense. Keep doors and windows locked when not intentionally open, and check entrance points to your home regularly before going to bed and after having someone else in your home.

Consider having home security installed where you can watch from your desk or a mobile device, and especially while wearing those noise-cancelling headphones that so many of us are now fond of.

Think outside of the box (or homemade cubicle) and make sure your fire alarm system or CO detectors are working properly and have fully charged batteries. We suggest placing a note on your calendar to switch out the batteries every 6 months.

If your senses tell you something is wrong or does not feel right, don’t hesitate to call the police or a neighbor over to ensure your safety and that of your family.  To get more information about our security offerings, or to schedule an installation, call us at 407-890-0506. We always work within our clients’ budgets and offer affordable maintenance plans for our safety systems. None of our customers get left behind.
